We can provide remote or face-to-face workplace needs assessments, during which, we will discuss any barriers the employee is experiencing at work and make recommendations for assistive technologies and other strategies to enable them to work productively and comfortably and, most importantly, reach their full potential at work.
We gather background information ahead of the appointment and then discuss everything in further detail during the assessment. We will demonstrate assistive technology hardware and software, and discuss the right adjustments to their individual needs. A full report will be provided detailing our discussions and the recommendations being made.

Do you have employees with undiagnosed dyslexia working within your institution? A diagnostic assessment may be beneficial in determining the appropriate adjustments and further support that can be put in place.
Our assessors are fully qualified, holding PATOSS memberships and Assessment Practicing Certificates (APCs). All assessments are undertaken under SASC guidelines (SpLD Assessment Standards Committee), the governing body for specialist teachers and assessors. Since the update provided by SASC in 2020, all assessments can now be carried out online in line with the new guidance.
Following the assessment we will provide a comprehensive written report for the individual, confirming any diagnosis of conditions such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD. The findings may help to provide a clearer picture of the person’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as an analysis of their individual cognitive profile.
For staff in need of specialist hearing and visual impairment technology, we recommend a technical assessment is carried out in person by one of our experienced team. We will allocate an assessor with the specialist skills and knowledge required, with the aim being to demonstrate the technology in the environment it is being used, such as seminar rooms and lecture halls.
Our team have various vendor accreditations such as being a Phonak approved training provider for Roger® technologies. Recommendations will be detailed in a full written report along with a quotation for any specialist equipment and further training.
